The ACT is one of the most important tests you will take while in high school. This college entrance exam will help determine if you are admitted into some schools and whether or not you will qualify for scholarships. Students should take the ACT multiple times, beginning as early as Freshman year. All students will take the ACT here at the high school during their junior year, but we recommend that you take the ACT before this time. To register for the ACT, go to actstudent.org to set up an account. Students can select when and where they want to take the test, request scores be sent to colleges and other entities, and pay online. The in-school ACT offered to Juniors is free to students.
NOTE: if you have already taken the ACT at the high school, but you have not set up an online account, you will need your ACT ID number to sign up online. The ACT ID can be found on the copy of your scores. If you do not have a copy of your scores, you can get one in the office.
If you have any questions about the ACT, please contact your counselor.
