Students who focus on a Pathway acquire the skills necessary for entry into well-paid careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CTE Pathways, son programas de estudio que aseguran una s\u00f3lida preparaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica y t\u00e9cnica, brindando a los estudiantes un aprendizaje cr\u00edtico y habilidades pr\u00e1cticas. Talk to your school counselor for more&nbsp;information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>CTE Pathways offered at MHS:<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.millardk12.org\/mhs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/MHS-CTE-pathways-2022-2023-updated-4-2022-1.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"\" data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\" data-toolbar=\"bottom\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">MHS-CTE-pathways-2022-2023-updated-4-2022-1<\/a>\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Through a program with Great Lakes Cheese, MHS students can earn the Snow College <strong>Industrial Mechanics Certificate<\/strong> while in High School &#8211; for FREE<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>This certificate is industry recognized.  It opens individuals up for employment in maintaining and repairing a variety of machines and mechanical systems.  Students work with mathematics, blueprint reading, welding, electronics, and computers. Through online and in-person experience, students learn skills needed in today&#8217;s industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who participate in this program are not be required to work for Great Lakes Cheese after Graduation.&nbsp; Nor are they required to attend Snow College.  The program is open to Seniors during the Spring semester.  Students take only required high school classes and check in with a teacher\/mentor (Mr. Hunter or Mr. Moat) each day for the remainder of their classes to work on the online portion of their college classes while here in school.&nbsp; Students travel to the Snow college (Richfield campus) occasionally to pass off skills. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are very limited openings for this opportunity. Many of these unions offer training and apprenticeships for those interested in going straight into the work force.  Labor Union apprenticeships are rivaling college degrees in earnings potential. Economically speaking, college and union apprenticeships have grown into quite an even match for one another. You may want to look into what the labor unions are offering.
