In 1984, the Delta Technical Center was dedicated to help serve the vocational needs of the residents of Millard County. First it was called the "West Central Utah Vocational Center". Later the name was changed to the "Delta Technical Center" though both the students and town's people have always called it the "Tech". The first year had an enrollment of 450 high school students and 60 adults.
The Tech serves the needs of high school students from Delta High School and Millard High School. Adults are welcome to come and take certain classes with the high school students. Adults can also take classes at night or college classes from Utah State University offered at the Millard School District.
