MSD Drivers Education Handbook

MILLARD SCHOOL DISTRICT DRIVERS EDUCATION PROGRAM 

Driver Education All those learning experiences provided by MSD for the purpose of developing knowledge, attitudes, habits, and skills necessary for the safe operation of motor vehicles, including a proper acceptance of personal responsibility in traffic and a true appreciation of the causes, seriousness, and consequences of traffic collisions.

MSD Driver Education Fees: 

MSD Drivers Education Fee for entire course: $170.00

  1. $70.00 – Canvas classroom instruction portion
  2. $100.00 – 6 Hours of road driving with MSD Instructor (includes the required final road test) and 6 Hours of observation time.

·         Payment can only be made to MHS or DHS main offices respectively.

Students will be required to pay secondary fees if any of the listed parts of the course are failed and need to be repeated during the course time frame.

  1. $100.00 -6-hour road driving of behind-the-wheel instruction with an MSD instructor.
  2. $20.00- Driver Education Retest Fee -Millard School District Driver Education instructors will work with students to help them successfully pass the required driving test. Students who do not pass the driving test on their first attempt will be charged a $20.00 retest fee for their second attempt.
  3.  $70.00-Canvas Classroom Instruction Portion

-Students will be required to pay a new classroom fee if course needs to be repeated.

-Students are required to start over from the beginning when repeating the course.
