Counseling Services – Tiered Supports for all Students

Within our tiered system of supports for students, we strive to:

  • Implement trauma informed practices to support student’s social/emotional/mental health (as with the Refocus Center)
  • Enlist restorative practices to assist students in improving their attendance, grades and behavior (as with the Cross Roads Center)
  • Help provide assistance with physical needs (as with the MHS Food and Clothing Pantry)

Our aim is to help all students succeed and thrive in school by implementing interventions, as needed, that are universal (Tier 1), targeted (Tier 2), and Intensive (Tier 3).
